Dominic ‘FRIDOM’ Fritsche

Dominic Fritsche is a Swiss–Kiwi creative director and multidisciplinary designer based in Tāmaki Makaurau. Born and raised in Switzerland to a Kiwi mum and Swiss dad, he grew up immersed in different cultures and stories, an upbringing that continues to shape the way he approaches every project.

With over 8 years of experience spanning UX and digital product design, brand direction, film art department, and spatial design, Dominic brings a rare combination of hands-on craft and strategic thinking to his work. He believes good design carries narrative, that the strongest creative outcomes are both aesthetically considered and functionally grounded.

Since arriving in Aotearoa, Dominic has deepened his connection to this place through learning Whakaiko at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa, a practice that has profoundly informed his understanding of material culture, identity, and the responsibility that comes with making things.

He aims to create work that is honest, purposeful, and enduring.
